Speaking of road tax, and well, vehicle. It reminds me of an embarrassing story that happened almost 12 years ago. It is so embarrassing, I had never told anyone about it, (until now!). So, be thankful that you are lucky enough to hear this, you’re welcome.

Anyway, I was in standard six, and I was at at school for a night class. That particular night, after the night class, I was waiting for my dad to pick me up. At 10pm, it was dark, cars were everywhere but all I could see was lights coming out of parent’s cars picking up their kids. As soon as I spotted my dad’s car, bingo!

I ran towards my dad’s car, pretty excited because my dad was earlier than usual. I dived into the car and said, “wow dad, you’re surprisingly early today!”

However, all I get was an awkward silence. I looked around and to my surprise, I didn’t know these people. and then it hit me, OH MY GOD, I GOT INTO A WRONG CAR! That’s not my dad! and that’s not my brother! Without saying a word, I sprung out of the car.  HAHAHAHA. Can you imagine, getting in the wrong car??

and guess what’s the worst part, the “brother” that was in the car, was a schoolmate (though I  had never talked to him) and they were also  my neighbour! Needless to say,  since  then, things were awkward  between me and him (and his dad) for the rest of my life. hahaha, there, story of my life. :p :p :p

Vlog: super fast hijab tutorial (not!)

Heyy, I was bored and lazy but I didn’t want to give in to the temptations of obsessively texting my husband, distracting him from work, so I pulled out my camera and started recording myself. With clothes on, of course.

Sorry, banyak merepek mostly. Pardon me, I haven’t gone out of the house for 4 days. I told myself to go out, get some air, EVERYDAY but the weather’s too cold. Plus, I don’t have any money, so..  =/

Right, should really get back to my essay. Zzzzzz

Just updates

My family and I were having breakfast. Dad bought some nasi lemak, roti jala, kari ayam and bubur durian or something.

“Ni ada roti jala, murah je. 20 cents sebiji” Kata ayah dengan semangatnya.

“Eh, murahnya” kataku. “Lepas ni, beli je. Tak payah buat”

“Tula, ayah beli RM3. Arina, cuba check. Ada berapa?” Tanya ayah kepada Arina.

“Eh, ada 5 je. Tadi Arina makan satu, so ayah beli 6 la” kata Arina.

“oh, maknanya satu 50sen laa. Patut beli 5 ringgit tadi” Kata Ayah sambil ketawa.

“5 ringgit nak buat apa nya, banyak sangat,” ibu mencelah.

“Yelah, dah nampak kuah durian. bukan senang nak dapat kuah durian. Nak kena panjat pokok durian satu hal pulak”

Tiba-tiba Hazim, adik ku bersuara, “Ayah, mana ada orang panjat pokok durian”

Kemudian, semua orang ketawa sampai tersedak nasi lemak.

Can you keep a secret?

It’s been quite a while since I last met Eddie. I’ve been missing him a lot, his voice actually. It’s probably triggered by this romantic comedy novel I was reading. So, in the middle of reading (literally middle of reading since I was right at the middle of the book, haha) I called him up. I knew he’d be asleep but I called him anyway. Ha ha, I’m so bad, I know ;p

So we had our lovey dovey talk, (Ha ha) and before we hung up, I told him about the book I was reading. Perhaps it was a desperate attempt to make myself seem a little more intelligent. Or trying to make myself into believing that it was a productive thing, improving my grammar as an excuse. ha ha.
