Fitna Film is an Insult to Islam.
this is a serious entry.
I’ve no mood to blog.
I say, FUCK. Islam is a very holy religion. Islam does not force anyone to convert to Islam and there was never in history that the prophets force the people to convert to Islam. In fact, most Christians back in Muhammad the prophet’s century converted to Islam because the fell in love with Muhammad’s (s.a.w) pure heart.
Fitna does not show, at all, what Islam is about. Not even the slightest bit. Infact, Allah demands the Muslims to protect the non-muslims when asked for. But when in war, as Muslims we must defend the religion and country, for Allah. However, the Muslims MUST offer for peace instead of continuing the war because Islam values peace. Islam is a peaceful religion. Even the word Islam itself is derived from arabic root “salam” which means, among other things, peace, purity and submission. Muslims submit themselves in obedience to Allah, the Almighty God, the most Merciful, the most Gracious.
If you watched the video, Geert Wilders, the filmmaker of this video included verses from the Qur’an. You see, every sentence of the Qur’an has wide meaning and you have to look beyond the words to get its actual meaning and only those very religious Muslims wh
o have studied the Qur’an for years can interpret the meaning of the holy Qur’an correctly. Not some amateur Dutchman. The meaning of a certain sentence depends on the sentences before it and the following ones. You have to see it as a whole.
Islam never permit the Muslims to kill. Muslims are not allowed to kill for pleasure, even in war. The only people that are allowed to kill (when in war) are the soldiers and the male adults. The women, kids and teenagers are not allowed to be killed, at all, even if they are the non-Muslims. Even during the war. In fact, during the wars in Muhammad the prophet’s age, the captured people are not tortured; they have to teach the kids to read. (I think they were given some education, but I’m not sure.) One thing for sure, they don’t torture the non-Muslims.
This video is an insult to the Islam religion.

p.p.s, Don’t get me wrong. I don’t hate the Dutch (In fact, my grandfather on my mother’s side was Dutch). But I hate those who support this and those who are racists and anti-Islam.

Oh well, he probably thought that it would make him rich if he made a film contradicting Islam.
I guess its because all these years, we only see bible related movies, how the testament was tainted bla-bla-bla.
So what did Muhammad SAW do when the kafir threw him loads of crap? He kept quite, prayed to God and be thankful.
I think this is merely test of faith. I really wish I could see the movie and broaden my wicked soul.

I agree with you completely. Ugh. After seeing that I’m pissed. I think that Islam is a religion that’s misunderstood by people. Being a Muslim myself it is an insult.

This issue for me is so simple, Geert Wilders seem connected all the event done by the muslim and relate to Quran versus.I’m not understand either why those persons or group call muslim could do such horror thing , slaughter human , hit the twin tower and kill those innocent ..etc..etc.This crazy people shouldn’t have a place in this world. but again how about nonmuslim who kill more people in ratio.eg. american in iraq, afghan.
Quran should be read as whole book chapter by chapter, versus by versus and again understanding why it reveal potion by potion related to the event rose during prophet Muhammad S.a.w life. So it will become the perfect example to perfect our life now and ever.
Insulting ..ya ..maybe but for me now the most important matter is to stand firm as Muslim to shown what is Islam means way of life which is relevant all time . Why islam been chose and perfection by god to become universal religion. Let the person or group who name by muslim name faith on whatever reason that they call for their territory and nationality.They have to do what they have to do and they have their own reason to do so regardless any religion.

1stly : the the 9/11 bombing is a conspiracy. done to start a war against Iraq. If looked at the death statistic of victim of the bombing, no jews were reported. In fact there are no jews in the building on that day. coincidence?
There is also a documentary on the building structure, the building will not collapse just from an airplane crash. The way the building crumble, is like a planned bombing.
2nd: About the Quran verse used in the clip, its a verse about punishment Allah swt made in hell. If you do a lot of sin on earth, of course you’ll be burned to crisps in HELL that is.
Read the surah from the beginning. Don’t simply just pick a verse and translate it.
3rd: About the ‘murtad’ (people who LEFT THE WAY OF ISLAM) is to be killed. Why? Because these people are the one that will make Islam fall. These people are the who will stab other muslims from behind. that will slowly plague other and make other people believe that Islam is evil.
Because they already learn the beautiful way of Islam, but cant accept it. If these people were asked “how do you feel about Islam” they will say all the bad things that will make people think wrongly about Islam.

Are you kidding me? 9/11 a conspiracy?????? I agree with freedom and tolerance but it is an insult to those who died in that horrible bombing to say that it was all a conspiracy.
I do agree that I hate watching “religious” films as they tend to be factually ignorant and give a wrong impression of the religion.

the documentary on the 9/11 bombing and the building structure of the WTC is shown on the discovery channel. I’ve seen it once. logically, the building should not collapse. the building is anti-earthquake. How can such building collapse by just a plane that hit the top of the building?
And the explosion when the plane crash, its too much. the plane carry people, not 100 gallon of oil or explosive. they could have not carry all those things through the airport. can they?

The short film is indeed an insult to us.I frown upon watching it.It’s wrong!that bloody wildert wrongly misinterpret the verses of our holy Qur’an and with all the video.I don’t fancy terrorism but we have to look beyond it.Those muslims who are jihad’ing’, we have to look at their situations.The non-muslims first provoke them!our prophet and religion promote peace entirely.Lets cling together, muslims!

Claire, I don’t think there’s such thing as evil religion. (except maybe during those paleolithic or the stone ages. LOL.) I think that every religion exists for the better human being, for the human to have purpose and something to believe in.
I don’t think I have the authority to say which religion is the right religion because it is all depend on you, to have faith in a religion you choose to believe. but as a Muslim, and from what I’ve learned through all these years, I believe that Islam is the right religion.
All these misconceptions of Islam is frustrating (I don’t know how to describe it). And as for you, claiming to see Islamic terrorists, do you mean it literally? You walk down the streets and all you see are the Islamic terrorists, bombing every city they came across with.Or on the news, at least. Well, those actions, are unforgivable, no matter which religion they come from. but what matters the most in this issue is that, Islam, do not, in any way tell the Muslims to become a terrorist because Islam is a very peaceful religion. We are not even allowed to insult other religions. Even if the terrorists are Muslims, are the Muslims around the world should be judged due to the actions of a few?
Then, how about the Americans who are killing a lot more people in Iraq and Afghanistan? Accusing them for having some weapons and all and they are still nowhere to be found, even until now. How come they are not scrutinized and judged?

I hope you don’t mind my replying, Aisyah, and Claire. ^^ What we find offensive, Claire, is that the filmmaker has made the film show Islam in a false way. The scriptures are correct, but taken out of context. Like Aisyah and many others have said, you can’t take the literal meaning of one sentence on its own like that.
There are mislead Muslims who give Islam a bad name, no denying that, but it doesn’t mean Islam, the religion, is bad, or that us Muslims are all evil.

Although I’m not a Muslim myself, I’m very offended by how people portray your religion as one being violent and have lots of negative sides to it. I think that people still have not realised that just like any other religions, Islam advocates for peaceful and harmonious coexistence. I even remmebered a Muslim friend telling me that to him (and every Muslim), saving one person is like saving the whole mankind. It’s the terrorists that are misintepreting the rules and uses them to brainwash innocent teenagers, coaxed them into participating in acts of violence. Obviously there are so many narrow minded people out there who are unwilling to see the whole picture.
I’m sorry that this has happened! I condemn the one who wrote and directed the film - they are the ones who are fully aware of the message they’re conveying, and to make it worse, they’re not frekaing ashamed of their narrow-mindedness.
