I used to go this.. er… sort of recreational park to jog. It was around April - July of 2007 that I went there to jog. I usually cycle there alone. Sometimes, I brought my maid and my little sister, Aida. I remember once, I when I was cycling back to home after jogging there, I found a small piece of a paper, somewhere on the handle. I pulled it out, unfold it, and there was a writing.

A name, and a phone number.

Of course, I threw it away, without a second thought nor a second glance. “desperate,” I muttered.

the next day, or a few days later, a guy approached me, and asked for my name. Having a friendly nature, I smiled, and told him my name.

Oh, f*ck. Big mistake, Aisyah. So then, I ignored him. I didn’t talk to him, and when he was near, I sped up my pace. So then, for the next few days, I didn’t jog there, of course, for the fear of stumbling upon him. Then, one day, my maid brought Aida to that so-called recreational park and when she came back, she brought me an envelop. I have no idea where it came from. According to my maid, a guy gave it to her.

In the letter, it said that he admired me for my beauty (yeah, right. pfft), my determination and for the straight As I got in my PMR. Apart from that, he also admired how active I was in sports. He said, that I’ve given him some sort of so-called inspiration to.. uh.. sort of, get on with his life, yada..yada..yada.

HAHAHA. What a loser.

You know what was the creepiest part? That he said he knew me. He knew that I got all As in my PMR. He knew that I was active in sports, the vice president of the Red house. Gosh, he freaked me out, man! Ever since then, I didn’t dare to step my feet on that park, ever again. I was traumatized.

I was too disgusted that I had to throw away the card. It was more like a Thank You card. If I still have it, I would definitely scan and post it here. I showed the card to my younger sister, Arina and we laughed. haha. poor guy.

I tried to jog around the neighbourhood but since I found myself facing dogs quite a few times, I freaked out and I started to jog indoor, while watching Totally Spies on the Disney Channel, before Aida forced me to watch Geng Bas Sekolah.

Now, after a long, long time of no exercise, I’ve gained some weight and I need to get rid of my huge tummy (or shall I say, my enormous butt), and since jogging indoor isn’t doing it for me, I’ve started to jog at that place since Tuesday. I sort of got over this so-called stalker trauma. And, I went there today, too. yeay. And so far, no stalker. yet. I hope it will never ever happen again. Or else, I’ll have to stop going there.

Seriously man, if I get another stalker, I’d be even more freaked out. Maybe I should be careful. And I’ll try my best to walk like a man. ganas sikit. biar orang takut. mwahaha.

and oh, mak saya kata, “don’t talk to strangers.”

p.s, I just assumed that the person who gave me the card was the same person because he didn’t write his name and I couldn’t read his signature. he had a beautiful handwriting, though.

a story from me:
i was stalked since 2003 till end of 2007. A girl I never known her existence, and furthermore, she’s from another boarding school; a one-gender-boarding school.. she knows everything about me. Even my birth date, my parents name [durgh, my parents went to her school, once, for a motivational programme], my old phone numbers, and.. maybe other things I even didn’t know about myself.. luckily, she’s hot and cute..

today, we’re friend. She confess to me when I mistakenly message her on Friendster, as she seems to view me all the time and try to add me.. Fuh.

p/s: she get all those info from my batch mate. what a boy. his GF was in the same school as the girl does.

Ah! That’s definitely creepy. What a stalker. It’s odd that he knew you and things about you. Well it’s good that you’ve avoided going to the park. Jogging indoors doesn’t work so well. I’ve tried it and it doesn’t work.

well, not exactly in front of my face, he gave the card through my maid. if i were there, i’m pretty sure he’d leave it on my bicycle. i’m glad he gave me the card instead of telling me in my face. I wouldn’t know how to escape then. LOL.

jogging sorang2 dekat park sangat bahaya, sila bawa pepper spray, a little knife and kalau boleh jogging la dengan kawan2, its safer.

kalau lelaki itu berniat baik, takkan lah you rasa uncomfortable kan? betul tak? ni mesti ada pape ni..

btw, i was stalked by my ex, for 3 years. its troublesome… scary gila!

OMG that’s traumatising! Especially when you don’t know that stranger but he/she knows everything about you. Now that’s really spooky. Assuming that it’s the same person who wrote the note and the letter, it’s disturbing to know that the guy actually waits in the park for you or your maid to appear! And since he knows your PMR results, he could be a friend of your friend or something, since I believe only your classmates and friends know your results right?

I’m glad that he’s not there stalking you! Stalkers are quite scary, especially after watching thriller films about how stalkers turned out to be crazy fanatics and murderers 8-)

takde yang silap dengan stalker? sorry, I couldn’t agree with that. what I said here on my blog is just quite a mild kind of stalker. a more aggressive stalker invades people’s privacy. they follow the victim everywhere, they might even appear in front of the victim’s house anytime, without any invitation or any reason (except to stalk the victim, of course). dating with a stalker is a pain. they are not secure. and insecure guys is a big N with a O which spells NO.
they’d call/msg the victim every single day, and there’s a huge possibly that he’ll turn out to be a control freak.

btw, kalau terlanggar bahu tu, nampak sangat disengajakan, sebab jalan untuk jogging tu punyalah luas, macam la tak boleh ketepi sikit. hoho.

erk… kalau senyum, sy balas. peluang kedua tu… depends on your definition on peluang kedua. hehe

then this guy came out of nowhere n started a conversation
then he asked me to join him jog
so i juz did n we talked along the way

MUCH better approach than ur stalker lah

but my parents were around n i stayed in sight, so it was not tht dangerous
