Some Class…
Today’s class was very interesting. Lots of things happened, and luckily, I brought my camera! 
Well, there was 2 classes today. The first class was Study Skills, and we did some presentations, and it was fun.
Of course, some of the presentations were entertaining, and some were so long that it became ramblings. The agony of listening to boring talk is just unbearable. (ok, not that boring, actually, but… maybe it’s just me who was having a hard time focusing. Luckily, me and my partner, Yi Ning decided to be the first couple to present, so everyone was really listening. After a while, people just seemed to lose their interests.
You-have-to-be-the-first kind of mindset has been implemented to me by my teacher when I was in the British Council, (when I was about 11), so I pretty much prefer to be one of the first in everything. The middle, maybe, but never the last.
Anyways, since the digital camera is new (the last one broken 
), I was having fun playing around with the settings and all (which are not much, since it’s just a compact digi cam). Heheh. Yi Ning was capturing photos of herself and some and the class because, she too, was having difficulties to stay focused.

(Yes, I wear hijab now. but it’s because I want to. okay? Not because of other reasons. well, sort of.)
Next, it was the Design class. We had quite a long lecture before we were given 15 minutes of break, so we went out of the classroom and walked around the floor and we found another small corner, quite a few steps away from the students’ lounge and there was a huge mirror there and we decided to turn that corner into our own photo booth.

So then, we went back to class and before the lecturer came, Yohji, (the Japanese guy) took the opportunity to promote his company’s latest product. Hint: safe sex
Watch the video. If you want to get the product, you can get it through me, I will contact Yohji and order from him. I don’t know if you can understand this, because we were speaking Manglish. (English + Malay). If you can understand, it’s really funny.

I admire that “volunteering to go first” attitude, I wish more people have that here. Sometimes my class is just so reserved, tak berani langsung nak speak up. And when you do, people pandang semacam, as if you’re showing off or something. *eye roll* But yea, lantaklah what they think, they should know that segan tak bertempat doesn’t bring you anywhere..

Not always la, sometimes I have that segan-tak-bertempat thing too. Depends on the people and situation. =T And I’ll also be nervous as hell so tak berani nak gi first skali. ^^; Trying to get over it, though. Baby steps, baby steps…

ah… i see. sometimes, I feel like I’m always the first. so sometimes, I try to give others the chance to be first, at least once in their lives, but I get disappointed when none of them has the guts to do so.

Funny how everyone mentions the tudung first kan. So i also want to mention the tudung lah. Tahniah kerana sudah mengambil selangkah utk berhijrah ! Hehe
I also wear the tudung, been wearing since like form4 out of my own intiative, but…belum boleh tinggal the not-very-loose (or not loose AT ALL) jeans and *sometimes* cute lil’ tops.
However still totally cover the skin la, minus the ‘purdah’ of course.
I know I know, “tak guna pakai tudung bla bla bla” ya ya ya heard all of it before. Doakan la saye berhijrah ke next step ya. Argh…macam mana ni Aisyah ?!?! :P

Presentations are rarely interesting to me :p I usually fall asleep in lectures while trying to evade the eyes of the lecturers, like moving my hand when I am sleeping or trying to keep my head higher, teehee!
Anyway, sorry to be ignorant in your culture, but can you explain the difference between a tudung and a hijab? Thanks

Your website design is exceptionally marvellous… (sorry, i mean this in a very professional manner) I was from multimedia college and most of the girls there (if not all) are terrible designers (not to differenciate between gender but this is my past experience) they used pink colored text on a green background (can u imagine?) and tends to follow some other “off of this world” design ethics.
About your website, it describes honesty and modest in design.. while somewhat colorful, it maintains its exclusive tenderness and friendly gestures… I have no words to describe it… it makes me feel as if I was at home… and i thank you for that
I was once like this, sewing, err I mean.. designing beautiful websites for me to express my innermost feelings of beautiful designs… After I started working, and started designing for money (need to follow clients’ demands) I lost touch of the things that mattered most to me, my persona, my character when designing… haish… it is a sad story really…
After I got off the web design work and took off for another job.. I started designing with my heart back.. but there was one drawback.. I was now designing website to make money for myself (lots of ads placements, only write articles about money…)
Why am I telling you all this? well…. maybe I got feelings like an old man, wanting to do many things before, but instead I succomb to the tides and test of time, when I am forced to leave all that I love about web and graphic design. That I hope that you, being as cheerful as you are now, to live life to the fullest and fulfill all that you have ever dreamt about…
Well, on the other hand, though my job as a programmer really do take its toll on my designing ability, I’ll try to rekindle with my past designer’s taste and skills… all thanks to this website of your that I found by accident…
