and yeah, ‘he’ turns me on reaaaal gooood.

So, after being pressured by my twitter buds, my ym and msn buddies, I’m finally going to blog about my new iMac!

This morning, my family (my parents, my sister and my brother) and I went to KL to visit some relatives first before we decided to go to Sunway Pyramid to get the iMac. But then, when I called the Machines outlet at Sunway Pyramid, the guy said that there was only one iMac left and that was in Lot 10. Since we were already in KL, we decided to just go to KL.

My dad was pretty happy to go to Lot 10 because he had RM80 ISetan vouchers so he wanted to buy something, just to use the voucher. Anyways, when we got to Machines Lot 10, they said that they had no stocks -at all. They had one, but it was a broken one. I was pretty mad at first, but then they called epiCentre and they said that they had a number of iMacs in stock. *phew!* I guess, there was some sort of miscommunication between them.

epiCentre is in Pavilion. 2-3 minutes of walking from Lot 10. hahah. Actually, I’ve already called epiCentre and the stocks was supposed to arrive yesterday and I told them to call me when they have the stocks in house. The thing is, they didn’t. Anyway, we went to EPIcentre.

Dad: Get the 20″ one la.
Me: *pokes my dad* I want the 24″ one.
Dad: heyyyy……
Me: hehehe.

Dad: No need upgrade. 2 GB is enough what.
Me: *pokes* Just upgrade la… hehehe.
Dad: haiyaaaa….
Me: hehehe

So, finally, my dad got me a 24″ 2.8GHz and 4GB RAM, Apple Care, and iWork and all that totaled up to RM7206.10. I got the iMac with 10% students’ discount, got the upgrade at a promotional price, which was RM499 (instead of around RM1000) with the purchase of the Apple Care, if I’m not mistaken. So, basically, it was a pretty good deal. It was a lucky thing that Machines didn’t have the stocks. Rezeki.

After I got my iMac, I felt really hungry. I realized that I didn’t eat while I was at my relative’s place because I was too excited to eat. LOL. I know, I’m a bit weird. hahaha. The guy from the epiCentre helped us to carry the iMac all the way to our car which was parked in Lot 10. Poor guy. My dad asked him to bring to Lot 10 only, but he offered himself to carry it to the car.

On our way back,
brother: Let’s get something to eat
dad: where do you want to eat
brother: anywhere. I’m hungry
me: can we just eat at home?
dad: heh. You are just like Aida. After you’ve got your toy, you immediately want to go home.
me: hahahaha.

Eventually, we ate at a mamak. heheh.

iMac is perfect. Stunning design inside out, easy to get use to, comfy keyboard, and that’s just the basic of it! It’s faster, too (Compared to my HP 3.0GHz desktop which was quite new). How can I not love this stuff?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my iMac. Woohoo! I still like windows, though.

So, next in my wish list is a… wacom tablet. A huge one. but that’s probbably way in the future, when I need it.

Wow Aisyah, congratulations for getting an iMac you must have been dreaming about it day and night for a very long time! Although RM7000+ is definitely a hefty price tag, an iMac with 4GB ram and all those extra features is definitely a great bargain! Have fun!!!

demnnnn… I and my friend just go there (machine @ sunway) last week. He also placed deposit to buy one too!.. It’s about 4.5K something.

BTW, kadang2 kalau monitor besar sangat rasa susah nak design web.. :D apatah lagi widescreen. Rasaa….. pelik bile kemudiannya tgk dalam low res. Hehe

but for gamers… it is heaven.. errr.. mac not much game lor… hoho (miss my old mac g3 - with 24″ big viewsonic on CRT monitor! )

er… well, not really. u can always resize the window. and, it’s an advantage, since u can see the result as a whole, without having to zoom it out. =D

Lucky! I want one so bad. The only way I can ever use a mac is to go to my college and use it for graphics, but I’m stuck with a high dollar piece of machine that’s good with storage and speed. Good, but I love mac better!

i was doing some thinking bout buying iMac here in US for very long time and i still do.

that gorgeous thing is magnificent because I’ve taken a computer music class using the iMac provided in the class - it’s super awesome.

well, just waiting bucks to come in and surely I would buy one - maybe the same configuration as yours.

Oh wow! iMac! I wish my dad would give me a new laptop that under Dell or Sony. Hahaha! A Wacom tablet! I just bough a Wacom bamboo not the one with the “fun” since I already have the programs and is your wacom tablet a graphire? The Cintiq (not sure with the spelling) is expensive and yet you can draw on the tablet itself. *wants*
