A 6-year-old Talented Artist

I’ve seen so many people blogging about petrol price hike. Although I’ve read a few, I’d still like to read another entry on that. Read on, I have a few sub topics to blog about.

Money, money, money

The last day before the petrol price increased, I queued for damn 40 minutes to get my tank refilled. It was a mistake for not filling up the tank BEFORE I went to college. I didn’t want to be late, so I didn’t bother to refill the tank, even though the indicator had been blinking for quite a while. So, after college, I had no choice but to fill the tank.

The price of the petrol has increased by 40%. So now, the price per liter is RM2.70, from RM1.92. I roughly use only RM50 per week, (if I don’t go anywhere else but just college), and now, I’m going to spend 40% more, so, I have to spend RM280, compared to just RM200 per month. Also, I have to prevent myself from speeding unnecessarily. And, I can’t just go to Mamak* and lepak* with my friends like that. the worst thing is, I can’t just get my keys and drive to 7-Eleven to get my daily dose of chocolates. In other words, I have to think twice before I burn the fuel. (Going to summer splash or not(?)… )

How I wish I could cycle to school. *sigh*

Then, I have to skip lunch and save money to buy petrol. I also have to set some money aside for my art materials. Oh god, why do I feel like I’m suddenly poor? LOL.

ah, what the hell. My parents pay the petrol for me. Still, I hate to waste their money. :yuck: It makes me feel guilty to ask them for money for my shopping needs. LOL. The conclusion is: the price hike will change my life, especially, on how I shop. :bawl: :bawl:

My parents do not seem to care much about this sudden raise, but they said, it’s normal. so, again, wth. *shrugs*

*mamak = malay slang for restaurant. lepak = hang out

Aida, professional artist

Ever since I went to this art school, Aida is starting to do a lot more painting. Yesterday, she was asking my mum for water colour but I could see that her eyes were tailing on me. I knew that she actually wanted to use my water colour. So, I lazily but gladly dragged my big fat ass and gave her MY water colour set, some of my old brushes and a pallate. She then immediately worked her way on her career.

Aida, and her mini gallery. Looks very ‘professional’ right?

Confirmed, my class is full of whores

oh noes! what I meant is, cam whores. LOL. Before the Figure Studies class started, we were snapping away while waiting for the lecturer to come. The tutor smiled and giggled silently when he caught us posing for the camera. Or, shall I say, cameraS.

From left (front): Arashi, Aisyah, Yi Ning, Jo Ee. behind: William, Yohji, JC in fine art classroom.

There are a lot of pictures, actually. but the rest of them were taken using Yohji’s camera. I texted him to give the pictures to me.

Me: Yohji, I want the pics.xp
Yohji: Pic? what? when? why? how? who? which? where? bleah…bleah. haha
Me: grr… -_-”

I’m losing my sense of humour (?)

Seriously, with all these assignments, and my idle time filled with watching TV, I couldn’t think of what to blog about. haha. so, yeah. This has become like a photoblog. And, I think I’m losing my sense of humour in blogging. omigod. why me? why, why why? I don’t want to be a serious person! That’s soooo NOT Aisyah Rozi.

Wait, is that even possible? :panic: losing sense of humour is like, losing orgasm (?). I mean, how can a woman lose orgasm?

ok, fine. bad metaphor. :tounge:

Wow, Aida’s really good. =D Great colours, if nothing else. ;) Hehe, do encourage her more, she might just follow in your footsteps. ^_^

Anyway, yea, the price hike is very freak-out-worthy, but I guess, looking on the bright side, it’ll encourage people to save (money, environment, themselves [by not taking the car all the time]) and hopefully bring out other positive things…

It’s losing lah dear. Loose = longgar. Lose = hilang. =T But photoblogs are good too, 1 pic = 1000 words, no? ;)

Same here at the Philippines. The oil price goes high every each darn day. I don’t drive, haha. But my uncle does. He kept on complaining why does the oil price goes high etc.. I understand what he’s feeling though. Its not necessarily wasting but yeah, similar to that. :D

Aida would come a long way, in arts. She just needs practice and in a short span of time, she’ll be like her sister. ;)

AH! So Yohji is the name of that cute guy. HAHAHAHA. I’m gonna stalk him. xD Of course I’m kidding. :))

Losing your sense of humour? That’ll be the last thing on earth that will happen, seriously Aisyah! I enjoy reading your posts and they’re never boring, really. If they’re boring, you wouldn’t have get so much comments and I wouldn’t be even bothered to leave a comment or something… so I’m the living proof of your sense of humour, heheh :hehe: don’t worry, just keep the way you’re blogging and everyone will love it! You’re a really lucky gal to be blessed with such quirky and spontaneous humour… not everyone can do that, you know?

Back to the petrol price hike, I think NoktahHitam has blogged quite a lot about it! Sorry to hear that the hike means that you’ll be spending about MYR80 more on petrol every month… that must be quite a troublesome change. One way to save petrol is dump unnecessary stuff out of your car ;) heheh. That worked for my aunt, since she have like 10 pairs of heels in her car, two heavy bags (one that is used to carry her huge collection of cosmetics)…

Aida is seriously very talented! Her art is more towards the abstract part, which is very rare for a artist at her age *applauds* you’ve got a talented sister who’ve inherited the artistic gene, just like you! :cheer: haha.

    p/s: Yohji’s hair is coooool!

Talk about the petrol price hike. My dad and mum currently have to go back and forth between Kedah & Selangor almost every week for some particular reason. Now that the petrol is so damn expensive, they’ve decided to take the bus instead. And it’s not all about petrol. There’s still toll to be paid. I guess taking the bus is much cheaper. :yuck:

Whoa! Those paintings are awesome! Nanti boleh die ikut jejak langkah kakak dia.. Hehe. ;)

HAHA! I wish I could do that! even by car, and a little bit of speeding, it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to my college’s area. I’m dead sure it’s gonna take around 3 hours to get there by cycling. plus, I don’t think it’s safe to do so. thanks, but no thanks. better just set aside some time to cycle around the neighbourhood area.

  33. Jehan June 8th, 2008 at 6:27 pm

If that’s the case, I think you shud buy the bicycle that can be folded, pack it in your car’s trunk, and drive and park some 2 or 3 km from ur college. Talk about setting aside free time, no students have free time. Our schedules are full with blogging, movies, hanging at mamak, gigs, and stuff. Hehe.
