Wooot! New theme, baby! I love this theme far better than my previous themes and I might keep it for longer. but, uh.. well, I get bored easily. Let’s just hope that I’ll keep this design for longer. And oh, I got twitter and I’m loving it. I’ve always wanted to do what you can do with twitter. If you have twitter too, follow me!

I managed to hack wordpress and highlight the comment by me, and me only. I couldn’t find a plugin that would do that because most plugins I found highlight logged in users as well. So, I’m pretty proud that I got it right. oh yeah! yeay me!

I wanted to have a theme that shows the visitor of who I am. I wanted a personal theme. My previous theme was gloomy and full of sadness. It wasn’t ME. I’m a happy-go-lucky person so I ought to have something bright and colourfull. Initially I wanted to design a theme with my sketches and artworks on it in order to make it more personal but eventually I put up a picture of myself. I hope you won’t puke or get sick by looking at my picture up there.

This theme uses tradtional-like elements such as collages, some drawings (or scribblings) and crumpled papers. I especially like the sticking cuttings effect.

Sorry guys, I haven’t been returning comments lately. Apart from being dead busy with designing this theme, I’ve been working on a webdesign project. And when I’m designing, I automatically loose my desire to blog because all I could type at that moment is this.

Seriously, when I’m coding a theme, it automatically turns off my ability to speak to human being. I keep saying in bad grammar - be it in English or Malay. haha. Ironically, I don’t really know how to make the full use of dreamweaver. I like to use it because it has better interface. I don’t even bother to explore because I prefer hand coding.

Anyway, do tell me what you think of this theme and suggestions to make it better. I think this theme looks messy at the top, don’t you think? I like it, but it’s kinda messy. hehe. Do tell me if you find the fonts are not readable. I hope all of you like it!

P.s, When I was coding this theme, I actually had a topic to blog about. but… I was so sick of my previous theme and I wanted to get rid of it ASAP.

i’m used to dreamweaver also, but, im not fully utilise the facilities given as im preferred to hard-coding my codes.. hehe

it’s web designing. I think computer designing is designing the computer itself. heh.

and, webdesign is just a hobby. i have no intention to make it as a career. hehe.

honey, download some free themes and use it first. if you really want to edit your theme, create another wordpress blog just for you to test it out so you won’t end up ruining everything. understand how wordpress works, first. :)

I am so in love with this theme. I mean like really REALLY in love. There is no way I’d ever have the time (or patience!) to work on my own theme but if I did, this one looks pretty much the way I’d want it to look like.

Do you do personalizations? Been toying with the idea of a revamp but I couldn’t possibly, especially with finals coming up and a med student’s constantly crazy schedule.

Also, not that I know much about it but you might wanna seriously consider web-design related career options :)

How can you get sick of your previous theme? It’s like 928,520,923,524 times nicer than mine, haha! I feel so ashamed for not being such a good designer. Anyway, a very nice theme, I love the light, active and cheerful colours! Not to mention the amazing textures you’ve used!

You’re one of the few web designers who manage to ditch the conventional sidebar layout. I adore the short and sweet sidebar and a footer that packs a big punch :D very impressive!

If you don’t mind, I’m going to link you in the next post I’m going to write, for doing such a great job in designing!

Aww, great new theme! I like it coz it’s still your style, but nicer and fresh. :) Anyway, I only found one spelling error this time, haha. Up there, “Subscribe to RSS”. ;P And… I think the footer looks slightly under-designed compared to the header, but it’s quite fine.

Gotta love the rollovers too. :D

What’s with the makan budak, though? Aisyah the cannibal! D:

hahaha. thanks, for the compliment and pointing out the spelling error. you are so good at spotting spelling mistakes. That’s one thing I can’t do, honestly. therefore teaching English is NOT a career option for me. haha.

heh. I tried to keep small size in mind, this time. I hope you won’t have the trouble loading my blog. It’s still not bit sized but definitely smaller than the previous theme that uses a lot of PNGs. heheh.

and yeah, I like to EAT cute kids. *and hot guys*

You got itchy design fingers, please stay with the same design this time – lol. Here is an idea – why not release your old themes as either paid or free ones.

My-oh-my, you’ve outdone yourself Aisyah. :)

But I’ve to be honest and say you’re not the first the concept. A number of others are actually leaning towards this trend now. Nonetheless, I’m just going to keep quiet coz I like it.

A little tip though. You might want to add ‘Read more’ in grey or at least make it more visible instead of having to learn about it by clicking the flowers. :)
