Okay people, when was the last time I talked about my personal life, huh? I’ve been talking about crappy stuffs lately. Now, I’m going to blog about crappier stuffs. Oh yeeeaah! Embrace yourself, you are about to waste a few minutes of your precious time by reading this utterly pointless entry.

Pun intended.

1st - I’m married.
… to my assignments. It’s only week 2 and I’ve got tons of assignments. But, so far, the assignments are all exciting. well, mostly. For this semester, I’m taking 6 subjects, which are, Design, Drawing, Figure Studies, English, Study Skills and the compulsory boring Malaysian Studies.

Anyways, this weekend, I’ve been doing only 2 assignments, out of the hundred that I’ve got. It’s the handmade sketchbook for design class, (to save cost, and to allow more room for creativity) and also the English assignment.

I know, it’s now that great or anything. But I guess, it’s a nice start. Well, I could always change it whenever I feel like it. heheh. Oh, I also did some figure studies assignment.

These two above are about ideal proportion for the head. The forms of the facial feature is not that important, but the placings of the eyes, nose, etc. I’m supposed to do the female one too, but I’m still not finished. Well, the truth is, I’ve already draw two of the female, but I’m not satisfied with both of them so I’m not going to put ‘em up here.

2nd - cat fight
Thanks to the mischievous Aida, I got some scratches on my hand for I didn’t want to accompany her watching Mariposa, (for the 100th time). But then, I went to my bedroom to get online, and she followed. I had no choice but to entertain her for a while. Now, we are good.

3rd - my desktop was hijacked
by my evil brothers. Well, the desktop was theirs, actually. But I stole it from them and now that they are on school holiday, they are conquering the desktop. damn it. I hate my laptop. I hate it. I hate it. I only use the desktop for design purposes. Macbook Pro (or Imac) MAY, MIGHT be on its way next year. MAYBE sooner or later (but I bet it’s the latter).

4th - My hair smells like fire
Hot! LOL. Okay, no. My mum was heating the biscuits (I’m not sure why) but apparently, she overdid it, and the biscuits got burned. Now the whole house smells like burning wood.

5th - Turbulence
I’ve come to conclusion that I cannot trust the numbers. So now, I won’t weigh myself. I trust what I see, in the mirror, or when I feel that my jeans are tight -er. Now, I should do more exercise. NOW. And I mean, NOW Aisyah! (I’ve been saying that since last month, but still, no progress). My siblings are home and my mum are cooking all the best dishes. And, it’s raining every evening now. damn it. Why must things get harder?

wah. the male face sketch is quite good. but it is hard to draw female faces correctly kan? i did learn proportion but not that specific like yours. drawing faces. phew.

got hairstyle too. haha.

I’m actually used to draw female more, than male. my male figure looks like a female. haha. but when it comes to drawing the in ideal proportion, I don’t know, it’s like harder. maybe I’m not drawing the outlines correctly. heh

oh, we are on the same boat! were, I mean. my parents didn’t approve me at first. but, after they saw me how serious I am about this, they are giving me a chance. no matter how far they tried to push me into science, I’ll go back to art. hahah.

You use TWO paint palettes while painting? ^^; How come I’ve never thought of that? :P Oh yeah, coz I only have ONE palette. =T (When I’ve filled up all the “bowls” with paint/water and then malas nak basuh, I usually end up just using whatever kertas/surface around me to mix paints. -_- )

The guy’s profile looks really good, love the hair! x) But I think portrait view susah sikit kot. I have problems with noses, personally.

And.. is that Aida’s natural hair colour? Cute ok!

The sketchbook is really cute. And unique. :D So you Aisyah! I wanna see the female sketches. I’m sure, it looks awesome, as always.

Haha, same here. My, err, I mean, our, was also hijacked by my 2 brothers. Its kinda annoying but what the heck. They are my little brothers and I’m the eldest so, give way.

I wonder what’s the taste of burned biscuits.

Firstly, Aida is so adorable. =) You did a great job on your sketchbook! It’s 1000% better than anything I could do. I need to exercise as well. *sigh* It’s quite depressing thinking about weight.

Sorry for being so late to leave a comment! I must say that designing, drawing and illustration is definitely YOUR thing :D you’re so good at it! I love your designs as well as your sketches - for me, the best I could go is draw a decent stick figure, heheh!

I remembered trying to burn my roommate’s hair when he was concentrating on his art assignment. It smelt like fried eggs, haha! And I realised that human hair is quite combustible, i.e., it does SPREAD to other parts of the head by contact with other hairs! Luckily I put out the fire with a bottle of spray in my hand (which is used to dampen clothings when ironing)… phew!
