With classes! and some other things. yes, I’ve started semester 4, it’s the third week now and we already had 3 days 2 nights class trip to Malacca! It was more like a vacation trip than an educational one. Everyone was free to explore on their own. I had fun shopping, and museum hopping. One thing though, the sun was blazing HOT!

Sadly, I didn’t bring my digicam so I only had my dSLR, and I don’t always use it. Sometimes I still need my digicam. oh well.

Oh, funny thing is, I met my bestie, Syad there. I totally forgot that she’s studying there. Thank god she randomly called me. So we had iftar together.  And apparently, I had my first asam pedas! It was spicyyyyy! hahaha. Will post more pics from my Fisheye soon!

Went there with Meera and Hazeryl. The wedding was  big and pretty. It was touching, and pretty fun to see the families were enjoying themselves and all that. Nuwa was so busy he only came by our table to check on us several time for no more than 30secs each visit, with a walkie-talkie on his hands. hahah. I was surprised to find out that there was no event manager hired. The family did everything on their own, except for the bridal dais design. Still, everything was so pretty!

Oh, this time I used a new film. It’s Fuji Superia CN ISO 400. Love the colors!  And I love the fact that even though the ISO is at 400, it lights up the picture pretty nicely indoor and outdoor at night. Some of the photos are damaged, I know cause I remember I took a few more.

It was kinda funny that when we first came in, Danang and Muiz were infront of laptops, online while Hazeryl was busy playing games on iPod,  and Meera was in and out of the kitchen preparing the table. We were really hungry waiting for Cindy and Blair to arrive. So, soon as they got there, we dug in.

It was a potluck style, so everyone had to bring something. Meera made carbonara pasta and ordered Domino’s pizzas. Danang brought fried chicked which he fried himself (kinda impressive. hoho), Cindy brought mushroom soup, and I brought some overboiled potato salad and some awesome brownies. Oh my, I want more browniessssss!!!!

Oh yeah, also, they pranked me. They told me to wear something bright and colorful but it turned out all of them were wearing black and white. Including Eddie. I really wanted to wear a cream colored dress that night but since they told me otherwise…. Gah, muddafukka.

Anyway, I think I’m addicted to lomo that I bring my fisheye everywhere now, other than the fact it’s pink so it looks more like a toy than a camera. Enjoy the picturesss!

We had so much fun. Eddie had too much food his tummy got round. hahaha. I was actually having a headache that evening, so Eddie gave me this strong pill that somehow made me super hyper. The sugar rush from  two servings of of ice cream & brownies made it even worse. I couldn’t stop moving  around that Eddie had to calm me down. hahah. Sorry about that. Also, sorry about the super soft potato salad. hahaha. AND… Sorry Meera and Haz, I spilled the ice cream on your carpet. xxx

It was fun nevertheless, (did I mention that already?) and guys, we so definitely need to have one these more often!

I expected that a lot of pictures could be blurry or underexposed, but the photos turned out better than I expected. Pretty good for a first timer I guess.  The colors this film produces are pretty good too, quite vibrant and rich, and not muted unlike many negative films.

So here are the photos taken at Cindy’s BBQ. Not many people were there, just her family, Blair, Meera, Hazeryl, Eddie and I. Enjoy!

Wednesday, February 10th – The day Azima left Malaysia

Had class from 8am-12pm. Then, went bowling and had Wendy’s for lunch. Then, went home, compiled printed photos as a gift for Azima. Took me one hour then suddenly Asma came to pick me up to go to KLIA (KL International Airport) and by then I didn’t have the time to take a bath. Heck, I didn’t have the time to change.
*insert curses here*

Then, off to KLIA together with Azima, after we picked up Wafi and Imran. Imran was wearing a pretty gay shirt. They then dropped the bomb.

Wafi: Kitorang couple sekarang.
Me: Whaat? *jaw drops* Are you F* serious?
Imran: yeaah. Kenapa? Salah ke?
Me: Nooo. It’s just that, korang dulu bukan ada gf semua ke?
Imran: Yelah, tapi kitorang dah jadi gay sekarang
Wafi: Tido sama-sama pakai boxers je.
Me: ooohkay. woww. korang dah maju. hahaha.

I was sitting with them in the backseat and caught them making out. But I couldn’t be bothered that much. Was holding back tears. haha.

We chilled at McD while waiting for Azima to board. Laughed laughed laughed. Snaped snaped snaped. Laughed again. Then cried. (no pictures)

After sending off Azima, we hung out at Burger King cause I was so hungry. Some of us left, leaving only Usop, Kai, Abu, Imran, Wafi and I. Then, since the guys were going to go somewhere to hang out, and I needed to go home, I asked someone to pick me up and send me home. hehe  :p

Got home. Did my assignment. Stayed up very late and had only one hour of sleep.

Oh, btw, it turned out, they’re not actually gay, they were just messing with me. -____-”

Thursday, February 11h – Surviving the day

Woke up late again. Rushed to college. Felt sleepy. Finished morning class at 10am. Had a curry puff for lunch. Then crashed Cindy’s place and had a nap for 1 hour. Went back to college with her for Design 1 class. Felt hungry, went down and bought a Kit Kat Chunky. Did my presentation on my model. hah. So fucked up cause it’s the last minute assignment again. Sheesh. Then, during the second half of the class, I got hyper and took cardboard cut outs and played gun shooting quietly with Danang and shot random people in the class. Some died tragically, and some seemed to be bulletproof and… so… serious.

Class ended. So happy. It’s holidaysssss!

Anyway, that evening, met up with someone. Had some toast with kaya and butter and iced chocolate drink at Old Town White Coffee. Also, I laughed horribly out of control. Sorry.

Went home, saw some mee rojak but didn’t eat. Went online, chat with some friends until 7.30pm then fell asleep.

Friday, February 12th – Null

Woke up at 3.38am, feeling slightly confused. Went back to sleep at 4.38am. Woke up at 8am. Then went back to sleep at 10.30am until 1.30am.  Drove to Bangi to pick up my sister at KMB and that evening, hung out with NoktahHitam, Abdusfauzi and Odin. Slept some more from 8pm to 9pm, and went early to bed at almost 12.am. hahahaha. I wasn’t even that tired to sleep that much but I felt sleepy pretty much sleepy the whole day. Headache too. Ok I know I’m rambling. So blaaah.

Random:

Spent almost Rm50 this week.

Apparently, it’s unrealistic to allocate only RM10 per week. But I need money!!!

I think I need to take some drastic measures. Wake up earlier, and pack my own lunch. Plus, it’s healthier. Either that, or starve at school, eat curry puffs every day.

First off, I need a damn good super annoying alarm clock. Or, try to sleep earlier.

After we had our meatballs we quickly drove back to college, and got there *almost* in time, thanks to Meera’s good experience in driving and her reliable sense of direction especially in avoiding traffic jams. Way to go Meera! hoho :p

Gonna have as much as random short outings before our works get piled up! Or, until we all get broke. hahah. It’s early of the month, everyone is rich. for now.

Well, at least now I know how to format, install, backup and restore on Mac. hahah. *sedapkan hati sendiri*

Anyhoo, I took some pictures while installing. So, lets see them first, shall we?

Oh, I love the fabric! It almost like splashes of paints in a glance, reminds me Jackson Pollock’s contemporary art, except it’s actually a more abstract form of flower print. heheh. As usual, I use Japanese cotton. The usual price is about RM48 (approx US$14.4) per meter, if I’m not mistaken. I saw this fabric a while ago but when I came back to get it, it wasn’t there. Then, I dug piles of remnant fabrics and found it, only RM30 (approx US$9) 2.6m! Am I lucky or what?

For this particular dress, I used Celestina pattern from Burdastyle website. Much thanks to Eddie for making this possible :p Anyways, I modified the sleeves to be a straight sleeve, and made the hem shorter.The belt is supposed to be tied on the back, but I like it much better in front! hoho.

oh yeah, I now also can take a deep breath of relieve and so do you (maybe) since somebody is generous enough to offer a sponsorship for my blog! Now, moving on.

Today was first day of college! yeay! Most of the classmates had some transformation, mostly new hair. Few gained weight. Me included. hahah. College was weird. Lotsa new faces yet seemed very empty now that Hospitality & Tourism students moved to the new campus.

The first two classes was well… boring. hahah. Then, Meera, Danang, Muiz and I went to the new Taylor’s Lakeside campus to get the limited parking sticker.

We didn’t explore much. Basically just walked through to Architectural building which is not fully completed, probably why we are only moving there in April together with Mass Comm students. Can’t wait for all the shifting completed cause I wanna flirt with cute engineering students! Nah, just kidding. hahah. I actually can’t wait to use the massive library. and courtyard. hoho. Also, another good news is our studios are right beside the parking lot! woooo!

Danang, reading the brochure. The building is obviously not fully completed yet. It’s far too new and foreign. Even Starbucks has not settled from their wheels yet (the red van). heheh. I’ll talk about the new campus later when we all moved there. Hopefully it will be more habitable. :p

I’m so excited for Design Studio 1 subject! Not sure if I’m gonna do well, but, I’m psyched nevertheless! In spite of that, I’m a lil’ frustrated because I don’t get the chance to sew a bubble dress I’ve been longing for, but my mum said that I should concentrate with my studies eventhough I know I could finish it before the lecturers give out assignments. Gagagaga….

I tried out Parallel Desktop 5 and it turns out that it actually integrates both Mac and Windows! Impressive huh? Check out the screenshot above and spot the differences! Well, actually, it’s not too impressive since it lags the computer a lil’ bit. So I guess if I were to use Autocad, maybe I should just boot to windows.
