First Day
Yesterday, was the first day of the second semester. It was… weird AND fun!
The first subject was the History of Art. For that class, we are merging with another class of the same course. I came early, and saw a girl from another class. Her name is Kimberly and we started chatting.
Kimberly: There’s a sernior here, he said that there’s this one very boring lecturer. He has a beard and he teaches in a very flat tone.
Aisyah: Oh, really? Let’s just hope that we wont get that lecturer. =s
Kimberly: Yeaaap
Then, after a while, when everybody was in the class, the lecturer came in. And, omigod.
He has a BEARD. A LONG BEARD. 
He looks like those Chinaman from the Dynasty years. He also looks ‘wariorish’. haha.
Thank god, he didn’t sound ‘flat’ like Kimberly said, but I did feel sleepy during the class. haha. And that was just the introduction! I must say that I had a hard time trying to focus.
It’s the beard. And his British accent.
He’s a very deep kind of guy. and he graduated from CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS COLLEGE OF ARTS AND DESIGN, London.
Dayum! He’s gonna be my next source of inspiration. My design lecturer, Wei Meng is still my inspiration, though.
The second class was the Computer Application class. We got lost IN THE MAIN BUILDING trying to find Computer Graphics 2 class and it turned out that it was a new lab that was transformed from a normal classroom. -___- When we got into the lab, we could smell the smell of the whole computer store. New pc, new monitor, new keyboards, wires, etc. oh, ultimate geekyness.
Damn.
And the monitor is huge! I think it’s 20″. I think.
I caught Yi Ling fascinatingly playing with the keyboard, pressing alphabets randomly with a smile of excitement on her face. hahahahaha!
The lecturer. Oh, Li Wen. He is a freakingawesome lecturer!
We played a game to break the ice.
Think of bug and the reason why I shouldn’t kill you
you have to convince me
I have a magic paper here that can fly and squish you.
Remember that I’m a58-year-old kid
Those who can’t convince me, will be killed. and you’ll remain standing during the whole class
Ok, this is gonna be fun!
He gave us 5 minutes and we had to stand up. He threw a toy squishy ‘brain’ at a random person in class, and one by one started to convince him. What’s more, everytime a person says his reasons, the whole class will try to bash the person and say, “KILL, KILL, KILL, KILL!” -____-”
The thing is, we couldn’t use the same bug. Lady bug, bees, ants. All my bugs were taken. grrr. T_T
When my turn came, I waited for people to give attention.
I am… a poisonous spider.
I am, infact, very poisonous. My body is full with needles and everytime something come into contact, I’ll release the poison through the needles.
Fine, you have you own MAGICAL paper.
Go ahead and squish me.
BUT, my body fluid will attract all my friends to come and swarm your whole house.
You don’t want to have hundreds of POISONOUS spiders in your house, do you?
Then, the lecturer said, “I’ve never heard of such spider”.
blaaaah! 
Then, he continued, “BUT! remember that I’m a 8-year-old kid so I might actually buy it. Hence…….
sit.”
Yeaaaay! xD *phew!*
Not much people get to sit. I must be THAT scary for a 8-year-old boy. ngahahaha.
Daniel had a pretty convincing reason.
I forgot what bug he was. But he said he had a chocolate factory or something and he can take him there.
Even I myself felt like I didn’t want to squish him.
But then, he continued, “I’m a big, ugly and juicy bug”
then, the whole class started to, “KILL, KILL, KILL” and the lecturer was like, “I almost believed you, but then when you mentioned that you’r juicy.. I wanna squish youuuuu!”
hahaha. cute.
He even has the funniest lesson plan.
so we are dorks..geeks… and nerddddds????? babi. hahaha.
oho… wow. I’m soooo looking forward to week 8. 
cute cute cute!
I can smell fun.weeee! 
The best part of our schedule is that, we only have for days of classes and Tuesday is a freeeeee day! woohoo!

I’ve got the 50mm f1.8 lens. Nikon version of course. I believe that that lens is the cheapest amongst the modern Nikon-Nikkor range.
My verdict? It’s final, I’m loving that lens very very much. Good in low light conditions, and brilliant bokeh.
First time I used it, I was like “holy shite, this little bugger is amazing!”

50mm f1.8 is a must have lense..yeh big aperture which will produce a nice bokeh..yeya..subject sharp,background blur..and its hard to find that lense…macam pisang goreng panas…laku sahaja..

The description of the lecturer is hilarious. It sucks that he’s quite boring. He reminds me of one of my lecturers. It’s hard to concentrate and I find myself sleeping away in his class because his teaching skills aren’t that enticing?
Ohh, the other lecturer sounds like so much fun. Hehe. I bet the rest of your classes with him will be amazing. You’re quite creative, a poisonous spider? If I was an eight year old kid I would have been scared too.

yeah. it’s the cheapest lens. about 300-350, depending where you buy it la. but standard is 380. i checked at canon shop. it’s a must have lens, depending on what you want to shoot. I like to shoot portraits. so….yeah, it’s a must have lens for me.
I don’t have monayh too. T_T if I were to buy that new lens, I must get a new camera bag as well, since my camera bag is so small. I’m gonna get a Crumpler. weee!
… when I have the money.
I have a feeling that I’m gonna be poor in the next few months. farewell to new shoes, new tops, new jeans, new HANDBAGS.

Your lecturer sounds very interesting and humourous! It’s a stark contrast of what I have over here - they are simply researchers who were forced to lecture and tutor us (so that they enjoy subsidised fees of using our university’s labs for their PhDs or whatnots) and so they usually get their job done and go. Some of them suck at explaining things that we just get completely lost. Sheesh!
Anyway, your lecture plan for the future weeks looks very promising! Looks like you’ll gonna have lots of fun this semester… so be sure to enjoy every single moment of it!
